Better Late Than Never

I have been informed by a few of you that I am holding up the works. I am late to post and the family blog cannot move forward until I post. Well I am posting. I haven’t had a lot to say so I haven’t posted anything. Sorry.

We had a wonderful Halloween. Last year I wasn’t in the mood to dress up for work so I didn’t and I really caused a lot of disappointment amongst my staff. This year I committed to my costume early and had a lot of fun with it. My staff were joyous that I dressed up even if ¾ of them did not know who or what I was.

The kids had a lot of fun. Morgan even got to wear a costume to school and partied with her friends. We are now reaping the effects of too much candy in our home. Kate and Worth bounce off the walls and have found major reserves of false energy. I am looking forward to the exhaustion of the stash. I am not sure it will come too soon. They really scored a lot of candy!

Finally, I will inform you of a couple of things. First of all my boss and his boss are leaving. I am very interested in both positions and feel really good about my chances. Right now I don’t know all the details so I can’t inform you of too much but in the next 3 months it is very likely that I will be working in a different position for my organization.

Next, my wife has committed her will to remodeling our home. She is very gungho and very committed to making a change in our home. She is pretty amazing. When she sets her mind to something, it gets done. We have very big plans for a couple of years from now but we have started with some immediate plans to finish our basement. This weekend we tore out all the junk in the basement and pretty much have only left the bed in place. We have a plumber coming to move our heating ducts, gas line and pipes for the washer and dryer. This winter we will likely frame and sheetrock. Down the line we would like to expand out and up on the upper level. As we progress I will keep you informed.

Well that is the news from the Worthy Jr. Household. Sorry to gum up the works. Maybe I can do better next time around. We love you all and keep you all in our prayers.

Those have to be the coolest costumes I have seen in a long time. I love it. I dressed up this year as well, I was a nurse. Okay not so cool. I had no problem with your delay in posting, I didn't have anything going on either that I could blog about so I hope you realize it is okay that you were late. We love you guys and hope to see you soon.

Hey, I didn't mean to pressure you. I am happy to see you, in person or on the blog. Those are awesome costumes. Your family really knows how to enjoy Halloween. I don't know if any of my kids made it to your house. We kind of stuck to our own neighborhood. We had a lot of fun, too. Tim, I have to let you know, Garrett is about ready to disown his family. He was so excited that you're bringing down Halo3 for Thanksgiving; that is, until we told him we will be in St. George for the holiday.

Worthy failed to tell you all that he now wears his wolverine costume underneath his dress shirts for work. I'm sure he thinks he has everyone fooled.

That was worth waiting for. We were at the New Brunswick train station on Halloween night, and none of the costumes were as good as yours. Some of them were very risque', so we like yours a whole lot more. Thanks, Glovers!

Eryka didn't know who you were either. Obviously, I need to train her a little better. Great costumes all around.
