So lets see. I decided to take Mom and Dad's challenge to post on time, or kind of on time. The only problem is I really don't know if there has been anything exciting going on to report.
Nancy will take her turn and report on what she is doing, then I will report. Here is Nancy.
The semester is halfway over and I am way excited to be done with these classes. I really like accounting and it is really nice to be able to understand and apply what I learn in real life. I have attended a few lectures on fraud and identity theft. They were very informative and no I know how to steal someones identity, cook the books, embezzle and steal from old ladies. My Microeconomics class is getting easier and is making sense. My calculus class is like getting my teeth pulled half the time I can follow along and the other half I am completely lost. My Computer class is fun and I completely understand it. It amazes how many people don't know how to use excel or Microsoft word. Other than that there isn't much more going on at school.
Life at the hospital is just essentially the same. I do still love my job, but Nancy and I are getting anxious for a bit of change. We have been stressing over our future and we are making decisions whether or not to do travel nursing, or to stay here. I had the Utah Valley Hospital Cath Lab Manager call me in for an interview this last week. They really want me to come and work for them. It would mean more money, but more stress. When they take call they stay at the hospital all day and night many times. Their shifts start at 5AM instead of 7AM. It could be good, but we really feel excited about seeing the world and paying off our mortgage quicker. So who knows but the Lord where we will be come January. We always try to stay open minded and flexible for any changes.
We have been getting super excited for Thanksgiving, that is until we found out that more than half the family is not going to be in Blanding. Oh well, we are excited to see anyone we can. Nancy's Grandpa Meyer will be having his 80th B-day so there will be plenty of Meyers hanging around the streets of Blanding so we won't be too lonely.
Well, lets see what else can I say? We got tickets to the BYU TCU football game from our neighbors, but I am on call and can't go. Instead we are going to let Worthy and Morgan go in our place. They are on their way here right this very minute and kick-off is in 45 minutes so I hope they get here soon. Their family will be staying here for the weekend and we can't wait to see them. Morgan and Kim will go to a volleyball game Friday night as well. I hope they report on their blog about their adventures. So there you go nothing too exciting, but it is our life. Love you all.
