We'll be back in New York in less than four weeks! We'll be flying home on Friday June 20. Needless to say, we are very excited. We have our tickets (the firm is flying us first class - good thing to keep those kids entertained for the 9 hr transatlantic flight), we have temporary housing set up in New York, we've started car shopping on-line (anyone want to sell us a car?) and we have things lined up to close on our house a few weeks after we get to New York.
Spain has certainly been an adventure and we will always look back on this time as a special period in our lives that brought many blessings, one of which is a deeper appreciation for our own country. We've been lucky to serve in some special callings (we've both been released now, which is its own blessing) and see some of the fruits of our labors. Eryka has a very special connection with her young women and I was lucky to be able to attend a special baptism yesterday. A recent convert in our ward who was baptized shortly after we got here and who I have been visiting as a home teacher was able to baptize his son who just turned 8. He and his wife have taken the temple preparation classes and interviewed with the Bishop to take out their endowment and be sealed in the templed. I'm hoping they can have everything arranged to do the ordinance before we leave, but I know that in any event it will happen and I am very excited for them.
So this is your last opportunity. If you wanted to see Spain before we leave, you've only got three more weeks. . .
We have some cute video of the kids dancing, but for some reason we can't get it to upload. We'll post again if we can get it to work.

I wish you were back too. I hope that the move goes well. First class! I don't know if I will ever even see what first class looks like. Love you guys.
Spain will miss you, but WE will be so happy to have you closer to us!
We are sorry we didn't make it to Spain, but we will look forward to visiting you again in New York some time. We hope we get to see you this summer, Eryka. Good luck with the move.
