Our Week

Here are some pictures from our trip to the zoo and Mom and Dad's visit.

Richie really liked the "epatants" (elephants) and the white aligator (not pictured), but his favorite things were the train and carousel rides.

In the picture of the two kids where Richie has his tongue out and Sophia is crying he had just sat on her, and that was why she was so sad. It was a fun day, but super hot. I think Nancy hoped that the walking would get Gavin to make an appearance, but it probably just made her super uncomfortable. We were so happy to have her company, though.

We did a lot of swimming at Mom and Dad's hotel. Richie had so much fun and discovered that he could stand up in the 3 ft. shallow end. He would start getting brave but ended up having a couple accidents that made him cautious again. He fell in at one point when he was sitting on the edge of the pool and it scared him pretty badly, but I was so proud that he still wanted to swim. He wouldn't let go of me in the pool after that, but at least he wasn't afraid of the water.

In the picture of Dad and Sophia you can see a ring around her face after she got ahold of Dad's Jamba Juice. That little girl LOVES to eat or drink whatever she see's someone holding; she gets irate if you don't share with her. It was great having Mom and Dad here and we will see everyone (hopefully) next weekend when we come down for quick visit.

I have finally recovered from the zoo adventure j/k.
I told Tim about having my baby in the monkey house he didn't think it would be worth a lifetime pass to the zoo. It was great to see you guys and hopefully we can see you again before you head back to Jersey. Love, nancy
