Have you seen this man he's been missing since Friday morning?
This past week I was really lucky to have Tim home Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday which I guess makes up for the fact that I haven't really seen my husband since Friday morning. I am very lucky to have a great husband who works so hard to provide a nice life for me and our baby. Usually on the week days I don't miss him as much because I am used to him working but when the weekend rolls around and I am all by myself I really start missing him.
Besides work we have had a really good month. I celebrated my 23rd birthday by getting new clothes, going to Wingers, watching a movie and hanging out with my two favorite guys. Tim took care of Gavin so that I could go shopping by myself for 6 hours. Towards the end I was really missing the little guy and it was so cute to see how excited he was to see me (probably because he was starving). Then Gail & Worthy came up to stay with us while Gail got her cast off and her boot on and to pick up Drew & Joaquin. I really enjoy having family come & stay with us which really makes me grateful that we have the room for guests.
Gavin is changing everyday and getting bigger & bigger. My favorite thing about him is he is always so happy to see me and gives me a huge smile. It is things like that that make waking up 2 or 3 times a night, getting peed, pooped, spit up on & having my body thrashed by labor & breastfeeding all worth it. I can't even explain how much I am in love with him and how much I love his dad for helping me bring him into this world.
The weather has been gorgeous which really makes me feel bad for Tim because it is the perfect golfing weather and who knows how long Fall will last & then winter will be here. I have been enjoying going on walks with Gavin & spending more time with friends while Tim is at work. We are both looking forward to Thanksgiving because we are going to go down to Blanding to spend the holiday. YEAH!!!! I had better go & try to get some sleep before I have to be up again. I hope that everyone is happy & healthy (or at least getting over that nasty cold that is going around).
Love, Nancy

Love that mullet shot. It really is true that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but I guess you can be grateful the only distance separating you is the commute to and from work. We studied a little bit about Joseph Smith's travels in Relief Society today, and it just makes me believe that much more what an awesome woman Emma was. We are truly blessed to live the lives we do today. And to have our own good men.
I know how you feel about needing your husband on the weekends. By the time Saturday comes, I am DESPERATE for some grownup company. Sadly I only get Saturdays and half of Sundays because Saturday is his only day off rehearsal.
It sounds like you had a great birthday. I am glad. Six hours of shopping?! That is crazy!
