Last night I came out of retirement for one night only to perform with Richie in our ward "Entertainment Extravaganza" show. We did a cutting from a show called Jerry Finnegan's Sister that is a two person romantic-comedy. It has been a while since I was on stage and it was fun to do the show with my husband. Little Richie and Sophia were allowed to stay up past their bed-time so they could see the show (actually, we just didn't have a baby sitter, and there was nothing for us to do but bring them with us). Little Richie seemed to really enjoy it, and Sophia actually let us do it without throwing a tantrum because she wasn't with me. The show was basically a talent show with musical and dance performances, we were the only acting in the show. It was a fun evening, but I am back in retirement, until my husband has the clout to get me cast in one of his movies. ;)
Next week is Richie's spring break and we are planning a little trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania, that's right, the place where they make the chocolate. Mom will be pleased to know that my kids are basically chocaholics, and aside from seeing Thomas the tank engine, I can't think of an activity little Richie would enjoy more. We are excited to have a short vacation and do some fun things like tour the chocolate factory, go to a zoo and even just go swimming and hang out at the hotel. It isn't quite a Caribbean cruise, but it will be fun for us.

One Night Only
Riding the bus around campus
Richie likes riding the bus...
...and making faces at the camera
Isn't she pretty?

Love those faces! You will need to reprise your performance for the family sometime.
Congratulations on your one day career! Your kids are so beautiful. Every picture you post is awesome. You'll have to take notes for us on Spring Break--one of our goals is to take our kids back to their places of birth, and of course chocolate will be on our agenda when we get back to the Newark/Camden/Philadelphia area. Have fun!
Eat lots of chocolate for us okay. Spring break means Richie is almost done with school! Crazy. We love you guys.
My kids will be excited to hear you are going to Hershey. Garrett and Cole have been there before. The chocolate from the factory tastes SOOO much better than the stuff we end up with here. Have fun. It is beautiful country down there. And I don't want to jinx you, but don't get lost!
