Our past week has been pretty busy for me {Nancy}. Gavin started throwing up Monday morning right before our morning walk & continued off & on again until Thursday. Monday was by far the worst day. He threw up 7 times & this was no little spit up. It was like a fountain unleashed from his belly & it usually ended up all over me. I don't know how many loads of laundry I did or the amount of baths that kid got that day. Tuesday we thought it was over until later that evening he threw up again & then on Wednesday he threw up all over the back seat of our truck. Needless to say Friday I spent the day renting a Rug Doctor, cleaning the truck, catching up on laundry & trying to keep Gavin happy. On top of having a stomach bug, he is also cutting some more teeth so it has been a long week for the kid.

I was able to have a Girls' Night Out on Friday night . My neighbors & I went to the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. I would not recommend seeing it was pretty sleazy & cheesy {is that even possible?}. Tim met me at the theater so he could take Gavin home & while I was enjoying the movie, Tim was fighting crime. Literally. He saw two teenagers walking around looking at cars when all of a sudden one opened a door, got in a car, took something & got out. That's when Tim ran over and asked them what they were doing. They tried to make some explanation about the car being a friend but Tim saw through their BS & told him he was going to call the cops. The kid who took the stuff took off running leaving his friend behind. Tim took that friend into the theater & had them call 911. The cops came & questioned the kid who didn't want to rat his friend out until the cop said that they would just charge him with theft. With that thought, the kid spilled what he knew about the other kid. Tim heard over the cops scanner that they apprehended the other kid. Yeah, my husband is pretty much awesome.

Other blog worthy things:
*Watched my sister run at state track.
*Bought a new weight cage
*Saw Star Trek & X-Men Wolverine
*Tim has one final test to take and he is finished with school.
*I have been walking 4 miles everyday with my neighbor.
*BBQ, & birthday parties

We hope everyone else is having a wonderful weekend and we need to keep this blog updated even if it is a simple "we are still alive" post. Love ya all.

City life is definitely more exciting than anything in dull little Blanding. Our baby boy is a super good model citizen. We're proud that you did the right thing and that you were kept safe to take care of you family. Way to go, Tim.
And we hope super mom Nancy is through coping with the volcanic hurls. That does not sound like fun.

First, having a sick baby is never fun, so sorry. Hopefully he feels all better. Second, good for you Tim! I am never brave enough to get involved, even if I think something is suspicious. I am so proud of you my brother!

I hope Gavin is feeling better, and that you (Nancy) are recovering also from your baby being sick. Hopefully, you can get back to blogging all those blog-worthy things. Good for Tim, doing his part to help catch thieves. Did I see something about that on the news?
