Yes, that is a picture of our new boat. I won't tell you how much it cost; I almost wish I didn't know. We recently sold our camp trailer, our old boat, and the bulldozer. I guess this is how we simplify. Still, I am not complaining.
Yesterday, we went out and played all day at Lake Powell. It was 90 degrees outside. The water is still cold, but the kids were wearing wet suits so they had lots of fun. The boat cuts through the water better, so when we were cruising faster down the lake, I didn't mind so much. (The way our old boat bounced through the water did freak me out a little). The kids really love going out on the boat. They have been looking forward to this all year. Olivia cried when we sold the other boat. She couldn't understand why we couldn't go boating in the middle of winter, either. She kept asking to go in the boat nearly every time she saw it.
Garrett graduated from the 5th grade on Thursday. We are proud of him. Next year, he'll be in middle school. He is actually pretty excited about that. Didn't he just start kindergarten not so long ago? Speaking of kindergarten, Rachel can't wait. Olivia also is so excited to be going to preschool next year. Actually, she gets to start preschool next week, in a short summer session at Lana's. She h
as been singing the songs she heard at Rachel's preschool graduation all week.
Britt's getting mad at me, because it's after midnight and he can't sleep waiting for me. I can't honestly think of anything else right now.
Oh, Britt and I might be going on a Harley ride (well, we would actually be on a Honda Goldwing) down the Pacific coast the end of June with Britt's family and some friends. I will let you know how that goes if it happens.
I think we are going to try to keep doing this summer, so I don't go too crazy being stuck in the house with the kids all summer. We like to keep life interesting.
See you later.

Sweet pictures Nan. Nancy and I can't wait till we can come boating with you. Tell Garrett congrats from us for getting out of the fifth grade.
Your family certainly does lots of fun things. I saw some footage from that race in Monument Valley on t.v. this week, one of the planes clipped a big, inflatable gate thing.
I can't wait to go boating. I'd come and visit but I'm pregnant and Drew wouldn't let me go boating anyways. Next year! Enjoy your fun filled summer.
