Travel Plans

Mother said that it is my turn to blog something since I have been silent for so long. I have enjoyed reading everyone else's blogs but if you haven't figured out by now I hate to write. I do write in my journal but even then I have to be in the right mood to do it. I try to write in my journal every week but often I go several weeks between writing. Maybe I should just photo copy my journal and send it to every one. Oh, I don't like to mail things either. (or open mail as far as that goes) I think it stems back to my getting in trouble when I was little for taking the mail out of the mail box when I wasn't supposed to. I know I should get over it but I guess it is as good as any other excuse. I am a little better at sending emails but I don't do well at that either. It takes me 5 times (or more) longer for me to type even a short message. I'm a slow typist for one thing and by the time I get around to putting my thoughts down on paper I forget what I was going to say.

I am supposed to tell everyone our itinerary for our trip to New Jersey and Madrid. So here it is...
Monday Oct. 29th 7:10 am Depart from Blanding to Grand Junction to catch the Amtrak.
10:40 am Arrive at Grand Junction and check into train station. 11:43 am Depart GJ on Train #6 California Zephyr (if train is on time, which is never.)
Tues. Oct. 30th 4:20 pm Arrive Chicago (Union Station.) 7:05 pm Depart Chicago on Train #30 Capital Limited.
Wed. Oct. 31st 5:30 am Arrive Pittsburgh. 7:20 am Depart on train #42 Pennsylvanian 4:35 pm Arrive Newark (Penn Station.) Enjoy Halloween at Chrislynn and Richie's.
Thurs. Nov. 1st - Fri. Nov. 9th Hang out with Chrislynn and Richie and little Richie and celebrate the arrival of Sophia (grandchild #16.) and visit with Richie's mom a couple days.
Fri. Nov.9th 8:05 pm Depart Newark Airport Continental Flt 62 nonstop to Madrid.
Sat. Nov. 10th 9:20 am Arrive Madrid.
Sat. Nov. 10th - Tues Nov. 20th Recover from jet lag, hang with Drew and Eryka and Isaac and Stella and Joaquin, bless Joaquin and enjoy Madrid.
Tues. Nov. 20th 11:15 am Depart Madrid Airport Continental Flt 63 nonstop to Newark. 1:55 pm Arrive Newark. Crash (maybe not the best choice of word) at Chrislynn and Richie's again. Enjoy new granddaughter a couple more days. Spend Thanksgiving morning with Call family in Jersey.
Thurs. Nov. 22nd 2:24 pm Depart Newark (Penn Station) on Regional Service #184. 2:49 pm Arrive New York (Penn Station.) 4:00 pm Depart on train #49 Lake Shore Limited.
Fri. Nov. 23rd 9:45 am Arrive Chicago. 2:00 pm Depart on train #5 California Zephyr.
Sat. Nov. 24th 3:57 pm Arrive Grand Junction. Drive home to Blanding.
