Both my boys are sick. It is pretty much a miserable sight at the Call house right now. Little Richie's nose is like a leaky faucet, it seriously NEVER stops running, and he has a terrible wet cough. I hate it when he is sick, because he doesn't really understand what is going on with him and he is so sad, I wish I could just take it away. Big Richie probably has what the little one has so it is just a matter of time before it gets me, I suppose. Hopefully it will pass soon (and pass over Sophia).
Besides the dreaded mid-winter colds, we are doing great. Richie had a really good semester and we were looking forward to a nice long winter break because he did not get cast in the first show of the season, but someone had to drop out of the show for family reasons and they replaced him with Richie; he is becoming the go-to backup guy, and he is not entirely sure how he feels about that. He would like to be the first choice, but he is grateful to have the opportunity to do another show. Anyway, the show started rehearsing on January 3rd, so our break was cut short. It would have gone until January 22 when classes start. He is playing Montague (Romeo's dad) and Friar John, both relatively small roles, so hopefully he won't have to be at rehearsals too much. I'm sorry, did I mention that the show is Romeo and Juliet?
Little Richie got markers from Santa and recently decided to use my Boppy (nursing pillow) as his canvas. He got in big trouble, and when his dad came home from rehearsal that night the first thing he said to Dad was "No, no. No boppy." Dad didn't understand exactly what he was talking about until I explained. He is sure cute, even when he is doing something he shouldn't. Plus, he is a pretty good artist, don't you think?
Luckily, the markers are washable and the boppy cover is removable.

I have been a little behind reading the blogs, so here's a late comment. I have to share with you what happens lately with Olivia and getting into trouble. There are certain things she knows she shouldn't get into, but the temptation is too much to resist. For example, she loves to get into my makeup and my feminine products. UGH! Anyway, I walk in on her in my bathroom, and she firmly tells me I have to leave, because she doesn't want me to see her getting into something she shouldn't. Like it's not bad if I don't catch her. Yesterday at breakfast, Britt told her to stop picking her lips, so she closed her eyes and kept doing it. I am sure you'll have som of that, too.
