Well....maybe they call it Drill Team now, either way, our little "Moog" is part of the team!! Congratulations Morgan! I had no idea you would want to do Dance team, I am so excited for you! I can't help but remember when I was a Freshman struggling with the idea of trying out for Dance Team. I went back and forth on the issue, and then just about chickened out...until...my older sister issued an offer that I am still so grateful for today. Nan told me she would try out with me! This was something extremely out of her comfort zone, Nan was quiet and shy in High School, and did not relish the spotlight like I did (ironically today, I am the shy one and Nan is the outgoing one with all the friends). I know it was a sacrifice for Nan to try out and then to participate in Dance Team. I don't know if she enjoyed it, but she stuck with it for me. I am so indebted to Nan for her selfless act of kindness. I loved Dance Team so much that I was on it all through High S

chool. Thanks Nan! On another topic, Eva had a school assignment to do a project about someone she admired, and...no surprise...she picked Grandma Gail. Our family truly benefitted from being able to live with her and Dad while we sold our house, had a new baby, and then bought a new house.
What a blessing to have such great family!

Way to go, Morgan! It should be a good experience. I think Jeanna is awesome. Kd, I wonder if you also remember that Kim was the one who helped us practice for tryouts at her house. I know I was driving her insane because I was so down on myself. I don't recall if she was a cheerleader that year. It's nice to be appreciated, Kd; but I was terrible. I think you may have been better off without me. I am still glad I had the experience, and I am really glad you enjoyed it so much.
Congrats Morgan. I Think you will have a great experience. I Think you already are taller than most of the seniors that are dancing next year. I am sad Eva didn't pick me as her person she admired, but I will let it go this time.

Thanks Kd! I forgot about helping you two practice for tryouts. I think I had been in drill the year before and I was a cheerleader. That's too funny! I'm so grateful that my kids have such good role models in their aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents...and happy birthday Kd!
