Faith and Prayers

There are always blessings which come out of times of grief. The reunion of families is one of those blessings. The answers to prayers when lost objects become found is another. The love we are able to express to one another while recalling fond memories is truly a blessing.
And then there is the unexpected blessing of having your property and belongings miraculously preserved while you were gone. The old basketball standard could have blown down directly on the car while we were in Montana, but the Lord watched out for us and made sure it landed the other way. Thank you all for your faith and prayers in our behalf during this recent time of loss and sorrow. We know that such sincere reliance upon the spirit enabled us all to travel safely and return home to comfort and security. We love you all!

I can't believe that basketball stand came down. I tried for years to pull it down with my thunderous dunks.

It seems really hard to believe it fell that way. It just seems most likely it would land right on your car. When I first heard the basketball standard had fallen, I was sure it must have landed on the Volvo. I do think that is a little miracle!

It is always amazing to me the blessing we receive when we are not even asking. Heavenly Father truly watches out for us all.
