Joaquin can walk. Kind of... Isaac was walking by 11 months. Stella right at 12 months. Joaquin is just over 14 months old and finally today took a few steps on his own. This is a big accomplishment for this kid. He just hasn't had any desire to get his walk on up to this point. Will see how long it takes before he really realizes what he's doing and actually goes for it. He was slow to catch on to crawling too, though. He just wanted to bum-scoot for about two months.
Anyway, thanks everyone for taking such good care of me and Joaquin when we visited last week. It really is fun to see family again and catch up on all the goings-on in Blanding. Eryka, Isaac and Stella sure were glad to get me back though.
So we just wanted to remind everyone as you're making your holiday plans, there's no cooler place to celebrate Christmas than in New York City, and we have plenty of space for visitors...

Congratulations on the walking. It is always exciting when they start walking.
That is big news. I know I tried to get him to walk by holding his hands, but he was not interested at all. Christmas in New York sounds awesome. But this is not the year for us. Thanks for the offer.
