Everyone at the Call home has a cold right now. It started with Sophia and me, and of course, spread to Richie and Dad. We stayed home from church today, which made little R pretty sad, he loves going to nursery, but we didn't want to spread it to anyone else. I think Sophia and I are on the tail end of it, so hopefully the boys will start feeling better soon.
Big Richie opens a show called Blue Orange this week. He has stayed pretty busy this month with rehearsals for this show and with a "Saturday Night Live" style show he and Joe put together as a fundraiser for their showcase. The fundraiser was last weekend and was a big success, so they are planning on doing more, but he has a short break from that until Blue Orange closes next Sunday. When it is closed he can spend more time with us and it will also make it easier for me to go to mutual on Wednesday nights.
Here is Sophia's first word. It comes at about 39 seconds.

It's too bad you all have been feeling sick. It isn't fair that when one of you gets sick, everyone else has to take a turn at it also. I love that Richie was disappointed about missing nursery. That is so cute.
It is always interesting to hear a child's first words. I remember how guilty I felt when Worthy Jr.'s first full sentence was, "Don't do that!" I wonder where he heard that?!
I hope everyone gets well soon!
What a sweetie! And this is for Gail: I used to say "I'm busy." How's that for a mother's guilt trip?
