Train Nutz

The Glover Sr. senior couple are at it again. We decided to continue celebrating Mother's retirement by taking a train trip. We went from Provo, Utah to Sacramento, California at the end of September, and of course, we loved it.

Dad took pictures from the train as we traveled through the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
Mother waited for the train back to Utah after spending time in the California Railroad Museum (mainly in the gift shop). I highly recommend it.
Dad worked on a walking stick while sitting on the train, and received multitudinous, rave reviews from other passengers. He is a highly talented artist. He used the conversational opportunities to do some missionary work and had some very interesting discussions.
Unfortunately, there was unscheduled entertainment on the train when it made a stop in the middle of nowhere (a little Nevada town that reminded us alot of Blanding). Two of the passengers had a little altercation and were escorted off the train. It took FIVE police cars to help them off the train. That also reminded us of Blanding.

We had a great time and are looking forward to the next travel opportunity. Suggestions, anyone?

I didn't know about the fight on the train. You save stuff like that just for your blog posts? I am glad you guys enjoyed the train ride.
